With Logic 8 still being fairly fresh in everyone's memory (and the great features that came with it), rumors are swirling among Mac fan sites that Apple will be issuing an update to the Logic Pro software at the WWDC in June.
While Logic 8 offered many great features above previous versions, competition with the new version of Pro Tools may have lead to the decision to "beef up" Logic even further; other sources have hinted at Apple entering the audio interface ring, offering a Logic-friendly multi-channel digital interface with Apogee-branded preamps and converters. No matter what's announced, it's clear to many that Logic is closing in on Pro Tools in terms of features and compatibility.
