Mixing for artists including Katy Perry, The Right Now, Marc Broussard, Maroon 5, and many others, Joe has an extensive resume in both live sound and studio mixing; his corporate and government clients include agencies such as NASA and the US Air Force. His work has been featured on outlets worldwide including NPR, Clear Channel Radio, The Armed Forces Network, ABC, NBC, and CNN. His recording resume includes capturing the final ten space shuttle launches in high definition, in cooperation with NASA's Kennedy Space Center.
As a freelance writer, aside from writing for the New York Times Company's About.com, Joe is a contributing writer for EQ Magazine. His first book, How to Start a Home-Based Recording Studio Business, was released in 2011 by Globe Pequot Press.
Joe has education in audio and electrical engineering from Louisiana Tech University and Southern Illinois University.
