Guide Review - Spin It Again - Vinyl Restoration Software
True, if you're a pro audio engineer, you might prefer using Pro Tools or Peak to have a little more control over the process. But if you're just looking for the fastest, most efficient way to convert your old audio to CD, then you're in the right place.
The audio restoration software included really impressed me. For a quick conversion from LP to CD, it took away the majority of the stress involved in making sure it sounds good. The best part, for me, was the fact it walks you step-by-step through the process of connecting your turntable or cassette deck to your sound card - a must-have for those new to audio - and if you don't have what you need, it'll show you an on-screen option to purchase whatever you need directly. How's that for easy?
So here's the downside. It's for PC only, no Mac - but if you're running a mac with Parallels or BootCamp, then chances are you can use this just as easily.
Acoustica priced Spin It Again conservatively at $34.95 - I know several readers who've asked about converting vinyl to CD easily would pay twice that for something effective and high-quality. And a lot of the time, with cheap software, you're cutting corners - but rest assured, with this product from Acoustica, you're getting an incredible value for your money.
