2012 Readers' Choice Awards: Best Microphone

We'll take your nominations, select the top mics you've recommended, and let you vote on who's microphone was the best.

From About.com Home Recording Guide Joe Shambro: In the last few years, more and more companies have been releasing high-quality microphones at never-before-seen low prices. We're looking to find the best bang-for-the-buck microphone that's new to the market. If you found a great microphone in the last year that you think is Readers' Choice Award worthy, let us know in the form below. You can nominate up to two choices.

Nominations will remain open until February 15th. After that, we'll tally up the results and select our finalists, with public voting beginning soon after. Winners announced March 30th.

This year the Readers' Choice Awards will showcase the best in hundreds of categories across most of About.com's channels, from technology to hobbies to sports.
